Welcome to the 1404 web site

We are a member of the Air Training Corps
based in
Boundary Road, Chatham Kent.

The Air Training Corps is a national voluntary youth organization designed to develop the qualities of young people. It is sponsored by the Royal Air Force and provides challenging aviation, adventurous and community activities.

1404 (Chatham) air cadets offers a variety of activities for people ages 13 years and over. The squadron participates in flying and gliding, Duke of Edinburgh Award, adventure training, shooting, sports (including athletics, football, netball, rugby and swimming) as well as developing your interest in aviation studies. We currently offer 2 BTEC qualifications for doing these activities you enjoy, BTEC in Aviation Studies and BTEC in Public Service, we are reviewing the BTEC in Music.

Adults interested in helping the squadron can do so by joining the adult staff or the civilian committee.
